Steve is retiring this week and as he collects Coca-Cola memorabilia his wife Jackie asked if I’d make him a cake that would sit with that theme .

I used the label and top from a coke bottle, and modelled the bottle in cake and fondant with melted clear mints to give the effect of water running off the ice cold bottle. And sat it on a cake that was taken from the shape of a bottle cap.

Jackie is going to swap the plastic top for one of his limited edition metal tops from his collection to give it a more retro feel which will look much better.
