I was asked to take part in a collaboration of cake sculptors to raise awareness of the plight of endangered animals for The World Wildlife Fund and Bakers Unite. It was to be featured in a number of sugarcraft magazines including Cake Craft and Decoration and be displayed at Cake International Birmingham at the NEC.

Of course i said yes immediately and was given the Jaguar to sculpt in cake.

Here is the final exhibition piece, it stands 30 inches high, 24 inches wide, is fully sculpted in sugarpaste, edible airbrushed, hand painted with edible paints and includes a gelatin water/ reflection. The orchids are edible too, native to the region where jaguars live.
