This is my hand-painted “Gallery” cake which I designed specially for my daughter’s first birthday. All the paintings feature characters from her three favourite books; “The tale of Jemima Puddle Duck”, “The Gruffalo” and “We’re going on a Bear Hunt”. The little frames in between the paintings feature text from the books. The smallest frames are from a mould, the remainder are all hand cut and textured . I loved making it & hope you enjoy seeing it. x
