For my boyfriends birthday party, I made this Me To You Bear.
With some of your cakes, you have a connection, and for me, this was one of them…
So many times I went down to look at the cake in the fridge. If it wasn’t made out of buttercream, I really would have cuddled him.
For the party, I also made a few other cakes, and I was hoping that our guests would eat these other cakes, so I could keep my bear a bit longer. But when I asked my nieces (2 and 4 years old) which cake they wanted to taste, they both screamed “the bear!!!!” all my hope gone
So bye bye sweet little bear, luckily I have a nice picture of you to look at once in a while… :-)

The bear is a lemon cake, filled with lemon curd meringue buttercream.
The cake and the gift are guinness cake, filled with Baileys meringue buttercream.
