This cake was requested by an old friend for her hubby and my now retired NHS colleague for his 60th Birthday. As he was a keen Hobbiter and bonsai keeper (grower/shrinker?) we decided to combine both – and I found a picture that exactly fit the bill – so all credit to Chris Guise for his superb real Hobbit house and totally real bonsai tree.
