This is a cake I have just finished for a wedding show this weekend.

I wanted to show the different finishes you could use around the base of each tier instead of a ribbon, so I had a play with various techniques.

This is the first time I have ever made a peony and I was pleased with the results.

I had great fun making and designing this and hope you like it as much as I do.

Have still not mastered the art of taking a good photo. Can’t get crisp detail, so I think I need a new camera.
