100% buttercream design. I decided on this cake to do a side BC pattern in horizontal pattern. I frosted smooth first and made several trips around with my icing spatula dipped in very warm water. *always shake the spatula free of excess water, as it will get too messy to contend with the icing. I started at the base and worked my way up with the slight indentions and went around as needed to smooth out.
I piped flowers in all buttercream and added BC centers and leaves. I added boarder at base of cake in leaf tip #352. Also piped some flowers floating on the sides.
this was a 10-inch round, almond cake inside for an anniversary. :)
