This cake was HUGE! I’ve been waiting to share this amazing cake we created nearly a month ago. I wanted the good pictures from the photographer at the party, & then I’ve been so busy I just got to editing them today!

I included the pic of me with the cake below to give you an idea of scale. The magician’s trunk is over 2 feet wide & over a foot tall. The hat is 8 inches in diameter & the bunny is close to life size!

Only the top part of the trunk is actual cake on the inside, & that little bit was 100 servings! If I’d made the whole thing cake it would seriously have served over 300! WAAAYYY too many for the party, so I used styrofoam as the base of the trunk. The exterior of the trunk & hat, & all the decor is sugar, & the bunny is carved of modeling chocolate. Yes, those chains are sugar!

The cake was half confetti cake with white chocolate buttercream filling & half Hot Chocolate cake with chocolate chip cookie dough filling.
