Today was “Pastor Appreciation Day” at my church. He has been our pastor for a whole year now and this is his first Pastor’s Day ever. Since he is from Chile and the national sport of practically all of South America is soccer, we decided to make it a Soccer theme.
This is my first time making a soccer ball. I bought the cutters on line and that made it really easy to put the ball together. I was really pleased the way it turned out and the pastor loved it.
The 11×15 sheet cake is sour cream, cream cheese pound cake and the soccer ball is chocolate cake. Done in buttercream with fondant/tylose decorations.
