So this cake is a little out of season as it’s one of my early cakes. I felt like putting a little hint of summer out there as we are rapidly heading into a chilly autumn where I live.

This cake was my very first proper/decent cake with my first proper/decent rose. It was my class work from a 5 day masterclass with Zoe Clark at The Cake Parlour. I was, and still am, most chuffed with it! You cannot beat the learning experience of being in the same room as your teacher. (Obviously, online classes and tutorials are useful too!)
