I ran (and ran and ran) with the comic theme for this cake and wanted the characters to look as though they were literally leaping off the page. Thor, Groot, Captain America and Hulk were hand cut from sugarpaste, whilst Iron Man was sculpted from a combination of modelling chocolate and sugarpaste.
