I made a bud of this rose in the photos attached and then decided i had to make the rose but wanted to make it life size like the bud. This meant creating a lot of petals! lol.. the outer petals were way too big for spoons so I formed them in a apple box inner tray (when apples are packed into boxes they have cardboard trays the apples sit in, ask you local green grocer for a couple of clean dry ones if you ever need to make large freeform flowers)
