This was my first every birdcage and my first ever books. I am so chuffed with how they turned out.

When I was given the brief of vintage high tea in a fantasy, fairytale woodland setting I just KNEW I needed to work on this cake.

The books are significant to the couple, the edible poem by Tyler Knott Gregson was chosen by them and there are 7 wafer paper butterflies signifying the couple and their 5 children.

The setting was absolutely beautiful and the cake matched it perfectly. I created a treestump effect board to tie in with the venue dressing.

I couldn’t have been happier with the finished cake. I hope Nikki and Chris loved it.
