Three cakes for a family celebration last weekend. Simple 4" cakes with hand painted toppers. A fairy for my fairy obsessed sister in law’s birthday. A swallow, the symbol of home and love and loyalty to the family for my new niece, Elsie. And (just because 3 is a much more pleasing number than 2) a self explanatory cupcake for my birthday tomorrow!

I think I’ll take a good rest from caking after that frenzy and leave it to you professionals for a while!
