This was a surprise cake ordered for my chiropractor by his wife. He is an avid mountain biker, which I actually didn’t know! She wanted a very POSITIVE 60th birthday message, not an ‘over the hill’ kind of thing. She loved it when I suggested we do an actual mountain for the cake & the saying "You’re KING of the hill, not over it’.

The top cake is a 6" round with a half ball top & a 9" round, both carved in to the trail spiraling up the mountain. The cake is both hand-painted & airbrushed. The trees are grape stems dipped in chocolate with buttercream leaves. Topper was supplied by client. Both cakes are Vegan Dark Chocolate with Raspberry buttercream filling.
