This is from a small group collaboration with the theme ‘Mirror’. My piece was very loosely based on a wonderful cross stitch piece of work my Mum made for me quite a few years ago when I moved into my first flat. I still have it hanging on the wall in my home to this day (it can be seen in one of the photos).
This didn’t work out quite as I planned it and my mirror was disappointing (painting is obviously an area I need to practice). The bowl of clematis did turn out well and I am pleased with that. I will show you the full piece for completeness though. It attempts to show how a mirror extends the view of what you see in front if you.
Everything is airbrushed apart from the mirror image which was done using dry petal dusts.
