Nerf dart cake in buttercream

Buttercream frosted two-tier birthday cake with vanilla and chocolate tiers. Balck dots under darts in Fondant with white BC dots on top. Mother of the birthday boy brought the nerf darts to save on time and money of me making them. *I was going to use pirouette cookies (long straw looking cookies with hazelnut filling dipped in colored white chocolate for darts.
I put skewers and toothpicks through ends of dart and inserted in centers of dots on sides of cake. I put long skewers up behind the gum paste sign to hold it up. I decorated sign in BC.

My youngest son Ollie (8) is nerf gun mad!
I have nerf darts all over my house! My hubby made him a makeshift gun range in the garden this weekend and this cake looks like everthing he shot! ;-)))))))

thanks Luna, Calli, Ms.GF, Goreti, and Lulu. Christine, this lady told me her son was setting up this whole outside gun range for his son’s birthday party! IT must be all the rage! Sounds like fun!! :)
