Today is my sons 14th birthday. He loves Dr Who. 2 years ago he requested a Tardis, this year he decide to push me further and asked for a Cyberman! I didnt want to disappoint so went for the Cyber leader, Learnt lots with this one, especially that I always seem to over bake for those “just in case i mess it up” moments and “make sure you make more ganache that you think youll need!” ha ha I also learnt that I want to learn how to handle isomalt and mold it with ease. Cake was a rich choc cake and valencia orange & dark choc ganache, covered in white fondant and then airbrushed, Cyber leader had a white choc brain and iso helmet brain cover shield thingy-ma-jig!! I fell in love with it as I was making him hope you like him too. Ive included a pic of my son with his cake just as I had finished it, he couldnt wait to see it finished lol Thanks for looking xx
