I was so happy to finally have the chance to make a Great Gatsby cake, I so wanted to make an Art Deco cake, and I finally had the chance!
This cake was so much fun to make, it’s a three tier cake 8", 6" and 4". The bottom tier has wafer paper fringe, 50/50 pearls and brooch. For the middle tier I used Jessica Harris’s amazing wax paper transfer technique, wich I love, to get that clean and beautifull gold lines. I used a puncher and Wilton’s edible paper painted in gold to make the lace on the top tier, the feathers are wafer paper too.
