A special birthday shoe for one of the loveliest, kindest and generous people you could ever meet. Her name is Sonia, but her mother being an Italian migrant spelled it Sogna on the birth certificate which is pronounced the same as Sonia but means dream in Italian. So this shoe is aptly named Beautiful Dream. I wanted to create a bold black and white shoe that is classy but still with a bit of a modern edge to it. I don’t like to focus on realism with my shoes, more as a medium to create art so please excuse the fact it may not look that real – it is the pattern and design that’s important to me.

I loved this design so much, it has become my favourite shoe. Hope you like it x
