There was a sweet luau party for Rae’s 11th birthday, and so this one had to be bright and full of tropical-ness ! The inside was pretty colourful too with 3 layers of red, orange and yellow cake, filled with lashings of vanilla buttercream and undercoated in white choc ganache.

(Those who know me and my cakes will also know I don’t usually go for full-on colour, but I have to admit that once it was finished it grew on me ! Bit of monochrome for the next one though hey Mellie, put me back in my comfort zone ;) ) xx
