It’s funny how sometimes previous cake designs can inspire several others. This was one such cake. Amelia asked for a Grace-style (“https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.813097135411429.1073741961.376930285694785&type=3”) garden with a Beatrice-style topper (“https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.782996671754809.1073741945.376930285694785&type=3”), so this triple layer 8" double chocolate cake was covered in a delicate shade of green with hand painted meadow grasses and decorated with hand made miniature trailing roses (thanks AGAIN to Selma at Little Apple Cakes for her wonderful tutorial), shimmering lustred butterflies and pretty pink toadstools. The fairy was sculpted entirely from sugarpaste (no modelling chocolate this time!) and sits within a halo of lilac trailing roses. This style of cake puts me in tune with my inner girly-girl and I have to confess I really love it. I hope you do too :)
Thank you for looking :) x
