I made this recently for a local competition. NECTA Sugarcraft competition. I won 1st gold and was awarded with the title of NECTA professional cake artist 2015. Thrilled is an understatement.
I used the Cakeframe as the support structure for the cake. The frame is then covered with rice crispie treats and sculpted to make the tree and covered in Modelling paste. Both treehouses are covered dummies as is the oriental style planter.
