9 inch chocolate cube cake filled with strawberry cream cheese buttercream and covered in milk chocolate ganache. There are roughly 720 squares of fondant on on this cake. The OCD in me really wishes the squares were neater and tighter, but you can’t always get what you want. :(
Would love to thank Lesley from Royal Bakery for letting me pick her brain regarding the dreaded Minecraft design. She is a cake God and if you haven’t been to see her work, go now and drool over her amazing work!
Happy Birthday to Jaden!

Great cake! Clean and sharp! :)
Would you mind telling me how you support the pickaxe? Thanks!
Of course not. I used popsicle sticks as splints on the back if the pickaxe and one was longer and I inserted it into the cake a bit for more stability. I used melted chocolate to attach the sticks to the fondant pickaxe. Hope this makes sense.
