This towering beauty is my largest cake of any kind to date. The bride wanted a tall statement cake, very elegant, but edgy with lots of glitter. Her colors were a soft turquoise & coral, with lots of succulents in her bouquets, so she requested the ombre turquoise ruffles, coral roses, & succulents, accented with plenty of silver glitter.

The two bottom tiers are whisper-thin ombre frill ruffles. The middle tier is fully covered in pure silver leaf, & overlaid with cake lace created from the Savannah mat by Crystal Candy. The same lace was created in an antique silver full of glitter to give a marcasite effect on the 4th tier, & to mirror-image the lace below. The top tier, encrusted in sugar pearls, was elevated on a silver cake stand dripping in crystals, & underlit with LED lights reflecting in the mirror below. The succulents and roses are all hand-made from gumpaste.

The top & 4th tier were Strawberry Fields Forever cake, filled with white chocolate buttercream and iced in dark chocolate ganache. The middle tier is Southern Italian Cream Cake. The second tier up is Hot Chocolate cake filled with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and the bottom tier is White Velvet cake filled with White Chocolate buttercream.
