Hi! I made this cake last October for a “Fellini and the circus” themed competition at the “Cake fest Italy”. The cake is inspired by the Fellini’s movie “I clowns”, the suitcases are those of the journey in search of old clowns survivors of a fantasy world that no longer exists, but that opening the suitcase appears like a dream, awakening old memories. Was complicated for me to design this cake, also because I’m not a big fan of the circus… clowns scare me a little bit … but at the end I like how it turned out :)
