This was made for a small collaboration based on the theme Old Curiosity Shoppe and is a repost of some photos I posted a few weeks ago as I was having trouble tagging the original ones.
Whilst I was researching it I kept coming across Victorian display pieces of butterflies in glass domes. As the name of my page suggests I love Butterflies so it was an easy choice for me to make.
These are all wired butterflies made from flower paste and coloured with petal dusts, all sitting on a modelling chocolate covered wire ‘twig’. The dome is made from real glass.
