Made this cake for my pastor and his wife’s 25th wedding anniversary. The theme was birdcages. First time making a birdcage cake. Not as difficult as I thought. Covered in fondant with gum paste flowers I made and fondant decorations. Also made the three little birdies out of gum paste. The blue is for their son, the pink for their daughter and the white one for their daughter that went to heaven way before her time (2 yrs ago at 21 yrs. old). The birds at the base of the cake are ceramic.
