Simon wanted to get a special Birthday cake made for his wife Katie.
She loves the 50’s and anything retro vintage style.
She also loves Cath Kidston prints, so this cake is inspired by all the amazing cakes I’ve seen posted on here and on google.
The sponge is Lemon with a vanilla and stem ginger cream between the layers.
