This month we catered for a special little girls’ Baptism.
The cutting cake was a gluten, dairy, nut and egg free chocolate mud cake filled with roasted coconut toffee buttercream. It was delicately adorned with soft flowers and butterflies.
To accompany the cake we made a tower of cupcakes. Vanilla filled with berry coulis, and chocolate topped with strawberry buttercream.
We received a lovely message from mum, who expressed that ‘oh so common’ joyful feeling, of watching your kids and relatives munch on safe, delicious goodies!
As a side note, because all these cakes were also vegan, they were suitable for the Greek Orthodox guests who were fasting!
