This cake was made for a friend of a friend celebrating her 50th. The theme for the party was “Italy”, so I had to tone all my large backdrop designs to one that was public transit safe! The Vespa was made of modeling chocolate and the vases/urns, fondant.

The cake was a tiramisu inspired cake, I used the cake recipe by Cake Paper Party, here’s the link:

I followed the cake recipe, amaretto syrup and mascarpone filling (YUM!!!) I made a mocha ganache to cover the whole thing.

At the end of the day though, these little guys were my favourite part! :)
