Have you ever made a wedding cake without meeting the bride & groom? Well I have and this is the result. The groom’s aunt ordered the cake as a gift to the happy couple. My brief was that it had to be a non-traditional wedding cake – not white and no flowers, represent Jamaica (where they got married) and they wanted a fun bride & groom cake topper with blonde dreadlocks. I had never made a clay topper before – but gave it a go ;) The couple had no idea of my design beforehand and only saw it at their wedding reception! Luckily they liked it and I could wipe the sweat off my brow ;)
