I made this cake for a friend’s mum for her birthday. She is a very poorly lady who was always very lovely and is very much missed on the school playground at pick up time. I wanted to try something new and make her a birthday cake to remember, so I went with her favourite flowers, bluebells, which I had never made before and a triple layer sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream, covered in sugarpaste and painted with yet more bluebells.

This is utterly beautiful Becky. Would you consider pulling together a bluebell tutorial? I’d love to know how you made them x
