This was a very quick little cake I made for a friend of mine who after much hard work has just passed her dog grooming exams, the start of a new career for her after leaving the prison service. Toffee sponge and butterscotch buttercream which we enjoyed with a glass or two of champagne at a little celebratory get together of friends :)
