Part of the Red Carpet Collaboration that I was lucky to be a part of.

My cake is inspired by a Reem Acra dress worn by Jenna Tatum at the Oscars 2014

While researching I came across a sculpture by Andy Huntington called ‘Cylinder’. For some reason it reminded me of her feathered texture. With his permission I was able to incorporate abstract forms which were super challenging! with hopefully the elegant detailed elements of the dress? :p

Each piece was individually hand cut from floral paste and left to dry (i’m sure there’s probably a better paste i could’ve used) shown in the last pic, ignore my thumb lol it’s the only pic i have of the progress
