Happiness is being asked to make a “Pooh-and-Friends” themed cake for a child. When it is to celebrate a Christening too, that makes it even more special. The top tier is fruit cake and the bottom is lemon drizzle cake. Everything hand modelled (apart from the blossom flowers and butterflies). I have tried to incorporate little elements – such as pooh sticks and bees without overcrowding the cake.

I have graduated myself back into cakes after undergoing ‘unscheduled’ spinal surgery in December. I count my blessings and Praise the Lord that I am (almost) back to normal (whatever ‘normal’ is haha!).

Busy time ahead with my son’s wedding … lots of flower work to catch up on! exciting times ♥
