I’m a little behind with posting! Here’s a wedding cake I made a couple of weeks ago now – I was going to do vertical ruffles on the bottom tier but changed my mind at the last moment. The dragees were a last minute addition too as it just looked too plain to me and I wasn’t happy. I love dahlias and chose this as my statement flower because I think they’re so interesting (and I hadn’t made one in a while!) and I love the way the bright red stands out against the rest of the cake :)
This was two tiers of carrot cake with a cream cheese buttercream and two tiers vanilla sponge with a raspberry buttercream.
