Tropical flowers

I made this one for my sister’s birthday. It made her cry! (tears of happiness I hope!). She can’t really eat cake for health reasons so she never gets one. I figured she’d just share it out so made her a big one anyway, and it was good fun trying out some new tropical flowers!

The bamboo took ages – there were 101 canes! But I did like the effect and I’ve used it again since.
