My client sent me a picture she made for the design, this is my translation to that :)
She asked for the owl to be rice krispie treats and wanted it to be realistic. The cake was just 10 servings and the owl is as big as an average female hand.
I mixed airbrushing and some other techniques to get the effects.
The chain and charms are gumpaste, though the chain itself has a very thin wire inside so it would be able to hold the charms.
