Playing with shades of gold, bronze, silver, white, and black, we painted the bottom tier with Art Deco triangular patterns. The middle tier was inspired by flapper girl headbands, with beaded detailing and edible wafer paper feathers. Finally, we completed the cake with ridges and painted lines of gold and black on top tier.
The cupcakes were a trio of tuxedo, feather broach, and our favorite, mix media cupcakes. These were inspired by chandeliers, with painted metallic lines and beaded details.
