This is the most time consuming cake I have ever made. Decorating time took us (hubby and I) a total of 18 hours straight (literally NO SLEEP, NO REST). If it’s just me working on this cake, there’s by no means I can deliver this cake on time. My husband has always been my supporter and critique, but with this cake, he turned himself into an instant cake decorator, Masters in Ruffle Rosettes. No matter how rewarding it is, I don’t think I can do this design ever again.
This cake is inspired by Shannon Bond Cake Design, LLC, only hers is buttercream. I think I will have to learn how to hold a piping bag to re-create this design again as I won’t be doing the same with fondant. Shannon has been so kind to let me use her design.
