I have been wanting to make an ark cake for SUCH a long time and Jonah loves all things animal, so it was the natural choice for him. This cake was 3 tiers (8" deep round, sculpted ark hull, and 3″×4″ ark cabin) of moist vanilla sponge with whipped vanilla buttercream. I managed to squeeze 22 different species on, all hand sculpted from sugarpaste. See if you can spot giraffes, tigers, hippos, pigs, ladybirds, zebras, snails, lions, elephants, pandas, monkeys, rabbits, frogs, snakes, birds, ducks, whales, crocodiles, and 3 different types of fish!
