I have no idea why I gave a name to a cake topper, possibly because I was still decorating at 2am, having been up at 6am, at work all day and having to do the same again the following day!
Anyway, about the cake – I looked at lots of cute giraffe images and cakes and Wilson is most definitely based on a divine cake topper by Sweet Love Couture Cakes in Australia. The cake was a lemon cake, layered with limoncello buttercream covered with white chocolate ganache and then fondant. It was made for a lovely lady I work with who’s having her first baby :)
