My second cake of the new year was this lovely Frozen cake and matching 30 sugar cookies, made for a wonderful young lady named Emma. I actually thought I was going to survive this wave of Frozen madness without being drawn in… but as you can see, that goal was not reached.

The cookies were cut using a custom template I made, flooded with a lavender royal icing, then covered in lavender sugar sprinkles. Royal icing snow was piped on later.

The bottom tier of the cake is red velvet with cream cheese buttercream. The top tier is vanilla cake with pink raspberry buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. Fondant covered, with fondant snowflakes and buttercream border. A fondant #5 was added to match the custom cookies.

The figures were added to the cake by the customer later. They are not modeled, due to copyright laws.
