I made this cake for a local church’s nativity play. All the children were either shepherds or sheep, so I made sillouettes of shepherds wrapping around the cake and sheep cupcakes surrounded the cake on the display table. Edible glitter sprayed above the shepherds looked like the starry sky, while I inserted an LED bulb into the star above baby Jesus which acted very theatrically as spotlight on the manger.
