I made this cake for the latest issue of Cake Central Magazine. The inspiration photo was beautiful (last photo). I knew that if someone else was designing on this, they would probably go for doing hand crafted flowers, which are not my strength. (The other cake artist did an AMAZING job btw!) I chose to go with hand painting, which I love to do. I really enjoyed making this one, especially after taking such a along break from the cake world. Slowly making my way back. :)

Hi Tiffany – This design is beautiful and your vision makes the entire cake unique! The sugar and hand-painted flowers blend perfectly and adds interest to the entire composition.
