This was our cake last year. Boozy fruit cake, marzipanned and royal iced in the usual way. Very simply put together with a spray of sugar flowers (which I had from a previous Christmas) and some rustic ribbon I bought from the village Xmas Fayre. Getting in the festive mood now, good and proper and making lots of flowers at the moment for Christmas and also …. for a very special family wedding next year, hip hip hooray! :) So I have cut right back on cake orders until next May.
