I was asked to make this ‘forest party’ cake to celebrate Evie’s 5th birthday. It was not a good week for me as I worked most of the nights (im a nurse) + I was away from home for a couple of days as well…. Lucky i had enough sense to prepare the figurines a week earlier, because boy oh boy the cake was a mad rush to finish on time!
I delivered it just as the guests started arriving. Phew!
Evie was very pleased with the cake and i was happy not to have disappointed her with a late delivery.
And everyone lived happily ever after
