My godchild loves Maya the Bee, so I made this cake for her 2nd birthday.

It was the first time I covered a double barrel with marzipan. I started a bit nervous, it was tricky, but with a lot of patience, and with even more smoothing and smoothing and some more smoothing… it all ended well!! relief

My godchild was very happy with the cake, however we might have traumatized her cause she kept saying all night “cake broken”. Luckily Maya and her friends were saved from eating, they found a safer place to stay in the cupboard.
