Simple but effective Elsa, Frozen cake.
I used a spare edible cupcake topper for the picture of Elsa, cut some snowflakes, which I airbrushed using the Dinky Doodle gold pearl paint. I chose gold to reflect the colour of Elsa’s crown. I then cut so e simple shapes for the castle using fondant mixed with Tylo. I let these dry for a few days and then sprayed then blue, again using the dinky doodle airbrush paint.
For the snow mounds on the cake board, I randomly placed fondant sausage shapes on the board and then covered them with fondant. I sprayed the white fondant 8" cake with blue airbrush paint whilst it was fixed to the board and then placed more white fondant around the bottom edge to give the effect of more snow mounds.
To give more texture and a bit of sparkle to the cake I covered some of the white snowflakes with sugar.
Hope you like it. Sam

So pretty! I love the use of the candles in the palace (they are candles aren’t they?) :-) x

What a great idea, candles for the spikes. I would like to say yes, but sadly I’m not that clever. Lol. They are just skewers made to look like the spikey bits. Lol, but I’ll remember the candle trick for next time. X

Silly me! I guess it would be tricky to find blue candles that long and thin :-D x
